Fraud Prevention
Overview
Cardholder Not Present (CNP) fraud in the UK is growing and the rate of growth has increased significantly in the last few years.
It is therefore important for you as an online merchant to protect your business against possible financial loss caused by fraud.
As a Payment Service Provider, Protx provides the software facility to allow you to trade online and to ensure that your customer's details remain secure throughout the transaction process.
However, this does not necessarily mean that the person ordering from your site is the genuine cardholder. You will need to ensure that you have carried out all the necessary checks to ensure that the transaction is not fraudulent.
Although Protx cannot provide you with a guarantee against fraud, we do provide you with several tools to help you to protect your business against fraud.
Key Features:
- AVS
- CV2
- Verified by Visa
- MasterCard SecureCode
- Verified Payment Data Query (VPDQ) with The 3rd Man
- Deferred payment
